In what must be considered one of the most unusual smoking restrictions of late, Carnival cruise lines has banned smoking in cigar bars on three of its ships.

According to USA Today, the bans in the cigar bars are a temporary experiment, and the cruise line is seeking passenger input on the issue. The article points out that some of the cigar bars on ships are located in a positions that require passengers to walk through them in order to reach other areas.
